oDesk is a website that lets employers and workers meet efficiently. Employers post jobs they want remotely done and home-job seekers browse for these jobs. Job seekers are paid either on a fixed rate or on a per-hour basis. Nice way to kill time too.

Pay: oDesk's payment system charges buyers each week for hours worked, and generates detailed timelogs to give literal visibility into the underlying work activity of providers.
