Speedtest is a very simple and straight-to-the-point tool to check your internet connection speed. It will show you (in kbps) how fast your download and upload speeds are. This is probably the most accurate net speed checker I've seen. They have a pretty cool interface too.

One of the more useful things in DNSstuff is for one to check almost everything there is to know about an IP Address - like what country and city it's from, the service provider that IP is using and much more.

This is useful when you want to find out about the legitimacy of the person you're dealing with. Or just for the heck of it, check out the information attached to the IP Address you find online.
